Hi there!

I wanted to share the details of my recent trip to Seattle, WA! I've always had a strong connection to Seattle. When I was in high school my mom took a job there for two years and I fell in love with the city. When it came time to pick a University I knew I wanted to go somewhere away from Arizona but I wanted to know people in the new city; Seattle seemed like a great choice! My dad's cousin lives there and throughout my mom's time living there we met some incredible people!

So I decided to attend Seattle University. I instantly became super close with my roomates and found some of my very best friends. But I began to feel incredibly homesick. I am an only child and being so far away began to be difficult. When I came back from winter break I knew I needed to make a change. I told my parents & I started the transfer process.

Even though I am now studying in Texas I knew I wanted to visit my old campus and friends over spring break. It was such an amazing trip!!

Excuse the super close-up but we went to the Bloedel Reserve and it was so stunning!! It's a public garden on Bainbridge Island

Again not the best quality photo but a great day! I hung out with my best friend and we walked all over the city like we used to do. I finally got the chance to taste the Pressed Juicery Freeze. Frozen pressed juices, you can add all sorts of toppings like strawberries & blueberries. I loved the green juice one but was not a fan of the chocolate... I was hoping I'd taste like chocolate but you could definitely taste the dates...

Although I love the city, after a week of steady rain I was very excited to return to the Dallas heat! What is your favorite thing to do in Seattle?
