Hi there!

If you find yourself in Denton, I highly encourage you to go to West Oak Coffee Bar. Stepping inside the shop made me feel right back in Seattle. It is true that Seattlites drink a lot of coffee and in my year studying there I definitely did too! My friends and I loved to try out new coffee shops to study at. My favorite Seattle coffee shop is Storyville Coffee. It is kind of hidden and located above the market and I always felt as if I had escaped the bustle that is Pike Place Market.

On Saturday I was in Denton and I had to stop by West Oak Coffee Bar. Not only is the locale amazing but the barista there is competing in the U.S. Brewers Cup Championship in Seattle! Everything I ordered was delicious! And the menu was very original... have you ever had Horchata cold brew?? Such a gem in downtown Denton!
