Hi there!
I'm super excited to share my first blog post. I wanted to write about one of my favorite weekend activities: the Dallas Farmers Market.
Like I mentioned in my bio I love small businesses and food. The Farmers Market combines both of these things perfectly! Every time I go to the market I get tacos at Taqueria La Ventana. This restaurant serves the tacos that are most similar to tacos from Mexico City. To drink I get agua de Jamaica (hibiscus tea), if you have never tried this you absoluetly have to!! It is so refreshing!
After lunch it is time for some shopping! This past trip to the market I discovered two amazing artists and business owners. I bought three prints from Hello Henney. She is a DFW artist and makes the most darling artworks. Check her out on instagram at HelloHenney. I also bought a small succulent from Energy Gardens. As a girl who grew up in Arizona, I am slightly obsessed with succulents and cacti. I have bought four in the past three days... I think succulents are so beautiful and they are the only plant that I seem to be able to keep alive.

This is the canvas artwork but I bought the print!! So darling!

My absolute favorite tacos! I usually get the lengua and al pastor tacos, with no cilantro

My sweet mama and I! This was outside the market on Mother's Day! Also shoutout to my dad for his photography skills, can't wait to share more about my family and life
Hope you'll stick around!
