Walking around Warsaw

Hi there!
This post is long overdue but I am finally recapping my trip to Poland.
Warsaw completely surprised me and I absolutely loved the city! We only stayed a few days but made sure to visit everything we could. On the first day we happened to walk across a red hop-on/hop-off bus so we decided to get on. I would highly recommend this when visiting a new city. Since the weather was beautiful, we were able to sit on the top deck. Not only do you get great information of landmarks but you have the ability to get off at any point. We visited great museums like the Royal Castle and the Warsaw Rising Museum, ate delicious food and even rented a bike to stroll around the city. On top of it all I felt an incredible welcoming atmosphere with everyone we met!

This is the stunning plaza where we had lunch both days!
These are some photos I was able to take from the bus! I loved the mix of modern and classic architectural style all around the city!

This is the main entrance of the beautiful Royal Castle. We opted out of the guided visit but loved walking around and discovering the different rooms and hallways. The Castle also has an art gallery & I was able to see two Rembrandt pieces!!
I unfortunately did not get pictures of the Warsaw Rising Museum because I was completely stunned by how well-presented all the information is & I wanted to take it all in. Any photo would not have done it justice. If I could only recommend one stop in Warsaw it would be this museum.

Loved all the food in the city but especially this thai ice! We stumbled upon an ice cream cart & even though I waited for two hours it was totally worth it to try this ice cream trend!
So thankful for this amazing summer trip & the time spent with my family and friends in France...
But also grateful to be home!
Talk to you soon,
AV
