"Fine Pies for Fine Folk"

Hi there!

Last year for a dinner party, I was looking for a bakery that made the traditional apple pie. I found Emporium Bakery in the Bishop Arts District in Dallas. The Bishop Arts District is a great neighborhood filled with boutiques, galleries and restaurants. I am still making my way around the streets, in hopes to try all the restaurants!

Emporium Bakery is a small bakery inside the cutest cottage! They have few tables inside, along with an outdoor sitting area. If the little cottage isn't sweet enough, the pies are absolutely delicious! The menu changes depending on the season but the pie they always have is the Lord of All Pies, a delicious crust filled with perfectly cut apples baked in caramel topped with a crispy cinnamon streusel. And if all of this was not enough, the packaging of each individual slice is darling!

I recommend getting your slice to go! It comes in the cutest little wood basket and fork!
